Acne free in 3 days review - is it a scam?
By Acne Free | October 3, 2006
Acne free in 3 days is a popular ebook that is written by a guy named Chris Gibson who claims he has a “scientifically proven secrets” that cured his acne in 3 days. Well that’s a very bold claim, but is acne free in 3 days a scam or is it the miracle cure acne sufferers the world over have been searching for?
Acne free in 3 days review:
I bought the ebook so I could review it for my Beat Down Acne blog readers, and here’s what I think about Acne free in 3 days.
- It’s way to long. The “meat” of the Acne free in 3 days system could be told in about 20 pages, but the author praddles on and on about how terrible acne is, and how great it feels to be acne free. Every person living with acne knows it sucks they don’t need to pay to read about it.
- What the book recommends has nothing to do with drugs or supplements. It’s more of a detox diet. A very strict detox diet.
- I already have my acne under control so I couldn’t really try out the Acne free in 3 days system (even if I did I don’t think I could last 3 days on the restrictive plan) but I have a hard time believing you can get rid of acne in 3 days. Even Accutane takes a couple weeks to work, and that’s the most powerful acne treatment available
Acne free in 3 days is not a scam in my opinion, but it is a little hyped. Following the advice in the book will take some serious discipline. If you don’t want to pay the 30 bucks for Acne free in 3 days you can learn more than you’ll ever need to know about detoxing your body at sites like http://curezone.com

Nice, honest response to the eBook! It is true that Chris goes on for a while about his acne problem, but it is motivating to hear about the benefits of fixing the problem…
Also, to decrease the length and sum up the quickest and easiest ways to get rid of your acne in combination with the knowledge from Acne Free In 3 Days, I created a step-by-step guide to help other people clear their skin like I did! Hope it helps:

hey everyone. i just wanted to say that i have suffered from acne since i was 10 years old (im 14 now) and recently ive found the only product that has worked for me. it is the clean and clear acne control advantage kit. strangely, this product worked for me but not for my sister(16 years old). she used the acne free severe acne treatment system. we got both of these products at target and found that they really work. i guess it just depends on what type on skin you have. Also, when my siter was 14 she tried proactive and it did not work at all so the doctors thought she was allergic to something in the product causing her face to get red and peel. just a warning for the kit that i used, it dries your skin out alot. and that it the only negative about it. the moisturizer is not very good, i so i suggest that you find a good moisturizer for you and your skin
hope i helped out!

I bought the book like last year I think. IT DOES NOT WORK, and when I asked for a refund, they never replied. I had to email a few times and still nothing happened. Ultimately had to report their company.’

[…] Fiber is well known to help with digestion. Keeping your colon clean and ridding the body of any toxins, it is also great for helping people with weight loss. However, one way in which it can help that many people are unfamiliar with, is as an acne treatment. If you’ve read of the “Acne Free In 3 Days Ebook you know they place great emphasis on colon cleansing. You can check out my Acne Free In 3 Days Review here. […]

Acne free in 3 days is a total scam. I bought the ebook and they sent me a blank file, nothing there. So I’ve emailed and emailed for 3 weeks, with no reply. I even called the phone number they listed and it said “leave a message and a customer service rep will return”. Then it beeps and says “mailbox is full”. So I basically gave this company $40 for absolutley nothing.

I would never trust a product that claims to work in 3 days. It just seems too good to be true. Odds are that it contains the harmful ingredient called Benzoyl Peroxide. I tend to stay away from products like that. I think it is wise to stay with a product that contains salicylic acid. There is a new product out called CTRL that contains this ingredient, and it seems to be working for a lot of people. If you are having trouble with the 3 day method, its probably because it doesn’t work. Maybe its time to switch medicines.

I was bitterly disappointed after purchasing my ebook from Christopher Gibson…acne free in three days. I purchased because my 11 yr old daughter has been suffering acne and is starting to become quite embarrassed about it. Obviously the rituals descriped in this book are very much inappropriate for an 11 yr old and so I asked for the “no questions asked refund” which despite many requests, never came. Now I am down $80Au and again searching for an appropriate product for my child. Please be very careful of these supposed refund promises because they DO NOT come.

So glad I found your honest review and comments by other readers. I have a website about healthy living, detox etc. and was looking to see if “Acne Free In 3 Days” is worth promoting on my Acne section. Obviously not if they are not honouring their refund claim.
As a matter of interest:
Clickbank does say on their returns policy that if a merchant doesn’t honour their returns claim and the purchase was made less than 60 days ago, you can approach them (Clickbank) directly.
The following taken from their website:
1. What is ClickBank’s return policy?
“Our official return policy for all ClickBank products is as follows:
ClickBank will, at its discretion, allow for the return or replacement of any defective product within 60 days from the date of purchase.”
Hope that helps somebody.

Chris Gibson’s instructions on “how to cure acne in three days” are not only stern but also impossible to adhere to. In our current society, not many of us have the budget to refrain from consuming the foods which he dubbed as acne-causing. We obtain our vitamins, minerals and other nutritious elements from these foods which he forbids us to eat if we were to stay acne-free for the remainder of our life. From my personal stance, his system can be equated with a daily religious ritual.
My personal counsel to any acne sufferer is to save your money. After following Gibson’s acne-free system, you will be unspeakably frustrated after realizing that you were duped by a charlatan. A self-proclaimed expert like Gibson is unquestionably a scam artist who pleasures himself in defrauding acne-sufferers who are desperate to find a rapid and ever-lasting solution to their morbid disease.
In conclusion, I wish to urge all of the readers who are reading this post to follow my counsel. I have tried the system myself and I quickly discovered it was a waste of money, time and energy. Perhaps you may be wondering: well, simply because it did not work for you does not mean it wont work for me! To such an assertion, I say that you are totally wrong. Gibson’s system will not work for anyone since it is incurable in its nature. Not only owing to its tenets but also to countless which I leave for you to explore if you decide to try it. On thing to have in mind, Gibson’s promised refund is nonexistent.

I too wanted to try the “Acne Free in 3 days” books but decided against it. I am now 30 and just recently was able to get my acne under control with the help of Mario badescu drying mask etc. It worked.

It is awful that people prey on acne sufferers with e-books and miracle diets. They are immoral scammers. These people deserve a special place in hell. Do not give these monsters your money. Acne can be devastating. The legitimate solutions for acne are freely available from health organizations, the Internet, your doctors office and your public library. There is no secret. You can solve this problem! The problem is oil production and bacteria thriving on the excess oil. Here are the standard methods, one or more of them will work for you:
a) saturated-fat and dairy free diet
b) gentle cleansing regime
c) topical acne treatments (trial and error)
d) laser treatments to lessen oil production
e) anti-biotics
f) powerful meds to lessen oil production
