Does The Bible Give Us The Cure For Acne?

By Acne Free | December 15, 2006

This is not coming from me, I’m just the messenger….

I was surfing the acne.org forums and stumbled upon this post titled “The cure of acne, is in the bible”.

Here’s the post:

Proverbs 15:13 - “A merry heart maketh a cheerful contenance”

The Hebrew word for cheerful literally means :to make well, literally, sound and beautiful. ”

Daniel 1:12-15 - “Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.
Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king’s meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat.

The point the person was trying to make (I think) was that you should avoid eating meat if you want clear skin. You can read the entire post here > Bible acne cure *Warning there’s a bit of a flame war going on*

Any time you bring up religion your just asking for personal attacks, but cutting back on meat, as well as sugar is a good idea. And if you do that and follow a sensible cleansing routine you can see major reduction in acne in a short amount of time.
