Summer, Sun, and Acne
By Acne Free | June 12, 2006
With summer here, many of you might be worried about the effects of the sun on your acne. Well my friends there’s alot of things that lead to flare ups, but the sun ain’t one of them.
That’s not to say sitting out in the sun baking your skin is good for - because it’s not, but don’t think you have to stay couped up inside on those sunny days.
All you need is a good oil free sun block. Do not - I repeat Do Not slather coco butter or any other oily goop on your skin. This will colg your pores, and Will cause acne.
What you want is a good water based moisterizer with sun block. The best one I’ve found is
Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF 15 it’s light, absorbs fast, and won’t colg pores.
Not get your read end outside and enjoy some fun in the sun.

I love the Neutrogena SPF 15 for daily use. The sun down here in South Florida seems so strong and I sweat a lot so I like to use the Neutrogena SPF 30 or 45 sun screen for going to the beach.
