Balance Your Skins PH to Fight Acne
By Acne Free | July 18, 2006
I’ve been reading about how your skins ph level can lead to acne in some people, and here’s what I found.
Bacteria thrive in a acidic environment - so by making your skin more alkaline acne causing bacteria can’t survive. Now this sounds easy enough, and there are many products out there claiming they can do that… But IMO it’s going to be almost impossible to spot treat the ph level of just one part of your body.
If your whole bodies ph is acidic, washing with an alkaline product is not going to balance it out. Sorry it just won’t work.
If you do think that your ph level might be the cause of your acne it’s going to take a big change in your diet to balance it out. For that I will refer you to this site www.juiceguy.com
I have heard a lot of good things about the alkaline diet, but keep in mind it’s one of the most restrictive diets around because carbs and protein are forbidden. You’re pretty much stuck eating green vegetables all the time

I think your mistaken about acne thriving in an acid environment. Try putting plain white vinegar on your face twice a day for ten minutes then washing it off. It’s probably a cure for acne if your problem is Candida. (Not teenage acne)

If your whole body’s pH has changed, you are already dead. You can only survive within a very narrow internal pH range. Your body has built-in buffering mechanisms to ensure that it *stays* inside that range, regardless of what you eat, because your existence depends on that.
